Combine the lx Hellstone ore and 20 obsidian at the Hellforge. Y'all should have xx Hellstone bars.

Make an Obsidian Generator to get Obsidian.
While y'all're in Hell, you can get extra Hellstone to make a Molten Pickaxe, a Flamarang, and Molten Armor.
Get the Water Walking Boots, an Obsidian Pare Potion, or an Obsidian Skull to protect yourself from lava.
Make sure to have a Deject, Blizzard, or Sandstorm in a Bottle to wing over lava. You can besides go the Rocket Boots, Spectre Boots, Wings (Hardmode only), or Cloud in a Balloon.
Make sure to get a Magic Mirror for quick respawn.
